  • well its official. I have fallen out of love with xanga. I knew that it was going to happen sooner or later. Yep after that first post I made so long ago, A little voice in my heart said something like, you know that this is a fling. You are going to get bored just like you do with all your other little affairs. And when that happens you are going to run back into my arms. And don't worry, No I won't be angry. I know that you are weak, and I accept it. Yes, one day after you get tired of writting on that other thing (speaking about xanga) you are gonna come back. I know you will, because you always do.
Damn! my journal knows me better than I know myself. She knows that I am faithful to her in my heart. I am sorry to hurt you xanga, but this is how it has got to be. Oh sure I will come back from time to time, but its never going to be the same between us again. Oh come on don't cry. You knew this was coming. I am sorry, but my lover is calling me, and that's where I belong ; with her soft surface that fits so perfectly in my hands. It doesn't matter to me that she has lines all of her. I like that it, and I write on it with my pen.

  • so right now i am reading Atala by Chateaubriand. Interesting. Chateaubriand is considered to be the founder of french romanticism. The book is about two indians, Atala and Chactas, and the conflict between religion, love, and life. I am going to be writting a sort of comparison between a few books by chateaubriand, atala included, and a few books by Fitzgerald. Oh yah. It's gonna be read. I wouldn't mind changing majors. But, I won't. Anyways.

  • well it has been a while since i have made an effort with this good ole xanga site. Oh well its not like it is widely read by anyone but old russian/chinese post-modernist-fachist communists anyways.
I give english lessons once a week to this ten year old french girl named anna every thursday night and then after the lesson i have dinner with the family. we speak french and english together and the day is always reliable to say something outrageous that he had seen in a film once upon a time in english. the most common phase that he enjoys yelling out is, "You blasted basterd!" Ha.....awkward especially when he says it to the ten year old girl that has no idea what he is taking about. hilarious. anyways.
he told me this story the last time that i was there began with: do you know the story of the american climber that attempted to climb mt everest solo? well while traversing a crevice he lost his footing and fell a long way before his saftey line caught him. But as he hung there thousands upon thousands of feet above the earth the pins began to one by one pull themselves out of the face of the mt. he struggle trying to find a good footing until all but one of the pins had fallen away and then as the last one began to nudge itsway from the whole he stopped moving and breathing and watched only the pin with anticipation. the pin stopped moving. he felt a little reassured. he began calling out for help. still hanging there and no one answering his calls twenty minutes later he heared a sweet gentle and soft voice that seemed to come from nowhere say: hey, im here, im going to help you, dont worry everything is going to be fine, i know your name i know who you are, everything is going to be fine just let go and i am going to take care of everything. He looked around and saw no one. the voice began once more and said i am here for you, i love you and am going to give you shelter and make you safe. The american climber looked around once more than said after some self reflection upon the situation, "Is there anyone else..?"
he laughed and then said that its a joke taking about how americans dont trust enough in God.
    I thought that was interesting.
    Its really late here.
    much love
